This policy explains what information Barnett Automation collects when you visit barnettautomation.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site or contacting us, you agree to this policy.

Who we are

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a form on our site or contact us by phone, text, or email, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any details you share about your business or request. If you check the consent box on our form, we also record that you consented, the exact wording you agreed to, and the date and time.

Information collected automatically

When you submit a form we record the source IP address and a server side timestamp as proof of your request. Our site runs on a content delivery network that may log standard request data, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the service secure and reliable.

Booking information

If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects the details you enter to create the appointment.

How we use your information

  • Respond to your inquiry and contact you about your request.
  • Schedule, confirm, and remind you about appointments you book with us.
  • Send follow up messages about your request by email, text, or phone, where you have given the required consent.
  • Operate, secure, and improve our service.
  • Meet our legal and record keeping obligations.

Text messaging and your mobile information

If you give consent, we send text messages related to your inquiry and appointments, as described in our SMS terms. Two things about that data:

  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent to anyone.

Mobile information collected for the messaging program, including your phone number and your consent, is used only to run our own messaging with you. Where a provider delivers messages on our behalf, it may process that information only to provide the service to us and may not use it for its own purposes.

You can reply STOP at any time to stop the texts, and HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers. Companies that host our site, deliver our email, send our texts and calls, schedule our appointments, and store our records. They act on our behalf and may use the information only to provide those services to us.
  • Legal reasons. When we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, or is needed to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

As stated above, mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

Our site is a static page and does not set advertising cookies. If you open the booking calendar, our scheduling provider may set cookies its tool needs to work. We may use privacy respecting analytics to understand aggregate site usage. We do not use your information for cross site advertising.

Data retention

We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as we need it to respond to you and run our business. We keep consent records and communication logs for about five years to meet legal and compliance obligations. You can ask us to delete your information, as described below.

Your choices and rights

  • Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages, or tell us to stop contacting you on any channel.
  • Ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.

Children's privacy

Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy
